Jim is the president of the Helping Hand Mission "board of directors", Jim Warwick has been a vital component of the mission’s recent resurgence as an effective community services provider. After a long and accomplished career as a Chemical Engineer for Exxon Mobile and its affiliates, controlling multi million dollar projects and managing teams of over 700 employees, Jim retired in 2002. In addition to his duties as a board member, Jim is the lead on physical facilities repairs, renovations and upgrades, often times doing the work himself. Jim has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Doylestown for almost 20 years where he serves as an elder, Sunday school, and Bible study teacher. Jim fervently believes in the work of Helping Hand Mission and says;” the longer I’m there, the more I believe that we can meet the needs of the community”. |

| Matthew D. Gallashaw II | |

Matthew is serving in his 11th year as Executive Director of Helping Hand Mission, Matt Gallashaw brings over 20 years of church leadership experience to this dynamic organization. He is currently an associate minister of the Christ Baptist Church in Burlington, NJ. Matt has forged his gift of serving and mentoring others through numerous projects and affiliations with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. As a master carpenter, Matt Gallashaw was a member of the Carpenters Union (local 1050) for 30 years and has a vision for expansion of the ministry’s services to include skills training and apprenticeship programs that will help provide a vehicle for men and women to reintegrate themselves into the job market. A “hands on” leader and self proclaimed “workaholic”, Matt extends his time, resources, and gifts to the ministry, often well beyond the bounds of his formal agreement. Matt is a strong believer in “teamwork” and can be frequently overheard reciting the old adage; “many hands make light work”. Matt is the father of three children and currently resides in Philadelphia with his wife Darlene who also volunteers with the ministry. |

| Adam Bruckner | |

Adam is the volunteer youth leader at Helping Hand Mission. Adam, a native of Los Alamos, New Mexico is a former Pro Soccer Player now serving as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Kixx Indoor Soccer Team. Adam, now a resident of Philadelphia has been working with the homeless in the city since 2002 when he started a program called “Restart” which helps individuals get identification cards and birth certificates so that they can begin applying for jobs and have the ability to cash paychecks. Adam has been lauded for his humanitarian efforts when in 2002 he was MISL Indoor Soccer League “Humanitarian of the Year”. On Jan 6, 2008 President George W. Bush met with Adam to present him with the Presidential Volunteer Award. Adam’s strong desire to effect positive growth and change in the lives of children is what has driven him to begin establishing programs that foster healthy social development through life book studies, sports, and academic tutoring. As this component of the mission continues to grow, the positive impact that it is having in the lives of youth in the surrounding community is becoming more and more apparent. |

| Darlene Gallashaw | |

Is the director of “Women’s Ministries” with Helping Hand Mission. Darlene’s gift for mentoring, encouraging, and equipping others has been added to her formal experiences including working with the mentally challenged for 11 years as a residential counselor with Family Services of Burlington NJ and many years as a teaching assistant at Alaine Locke, Elementary School in Philadelphia. Darlene has held numerous church, leadership positions, including that of a Bible study teacher with both Calvary Gospel Chapel in Philadelphia and Christ Baptist Church of Burlington NJ. Darlene has also worked as a street evangelism partner with Teen Haven Ministries. Even with this list of impressive credentials, it is Darlene’s sincere heart towards reinforcing the hands and hearts of hurting women that is the driving force behind her dedicated work with Helping Hand Mission. |
